I would like to put XP on my laptop, it'll be windows xp 64bit.
But before I do this i would like to ask some questions.
If I format my laptop will the secret hdd storage be lost ? If this would be lost, is this bad ?
Second question, are there any driviers for my laptop for XP 64Bit?
Is it recommended to install XP?
are there any guides on how to do it, that would be useful too :p
    Thanks in advance!

Well, your laptop probably has 3 partitions, so when in the xp setup just choose the one you want to erase, the acer partition or the data partition.

First of all, XP x64 is pretty buggy and the BSODs are hard to solve. Would advise Vista x64 or dual boot XP and Vista.
How many partitions have you got in total....(Check Disk Management in Vista)
When installing XP, you will get the option of selecting the partition you want to install the OS on, select it and you'll get an option to format it. Thats it, done.

Or you can use GParted, a pretty user-friendly tool too merge, extend, delete partitions.
