    On secondary note ... buy the drive if possible from ACER .
    This items that work on ACER systems , had firmware software, that makes them compatible ,and its supplied by ACER .

    The same model of the hardware , with generic firmware , could cause boot delay 20 secs, before OS load .
    Other than that, it will work.
