Used VMware Player to install a Win8 test machine. Working good with it. Not sure if I'm going to make the leap completely for now. Will just play with the VM.

    Hi,

I'm thinking to upgrade my Aspire 8930g, running vista 32bit, to win 8 64bit. Is it possible?

    Thanks

    Yes it's possible indeed. I'm running Win8 64bit and it's awesome.

Has anyone got the touchpad working in Window 8?

When you buy on line, try downloading from a 64bit machine and make sure your CPU supports 64bit. If you use your laptop, the Install Assistant will only download 32bit version.
