I loved my 5000 right up until it became to out dated to play on. Anyone know if a 6000 is in the works?

Seriously I advice you to stop choosing laptop based on names...
Ferrari laptops AFAIK runs on AMD because AMD sponsors the Ferrari F1 team.
And AMD Turion II Processor sucks big time compared to lowest end Arrandale.
I can call a laptop Bugatti doesn't mean it will run like a Veyron.
It is the specifications that matter, learn to read the numbers.

Gee, no . Really? Specs matter?

I never said the 5000 was the fastest ever. I said I loved it.

The Acer Ferrari line was pretty good when they first came out. AMD CPUs were competitive at the time with the first gen Turions doing better than the Pentium Ms.
