So recently I was using my 8204 and playing Battle for Middle Earth, when it quit I noticed the CPU was up at 91 degrees

Anyway, ever since then whenever I first boot the PC into Windows, the first time it freezes completely, second time it works just fine????

Basically I boot the PC, wait until it gets into Windows, and then have to use power button to turn off, reboot and it works fine, Ubuntu works just fine (all the time) any ideas?

I'm probably going to try just imaging back to my last image and see if that stops this weird behavior and I'm not even sure the high temp had anything to do with it, just seems, conspicuous!

Have you cleaned out your notebook lately? When you say freezes completely, does that include the mouse cursor?

I've not cleaned it out recently, and no the mouse cursor still moves just fine, however everything stops responding (can't click any icon on the desktop or on the taskbar, CTRL ALT DEL works, but if I click on task manager it doesn't start at all, just takes away the menu bit).

Ctrl-Alt-Del is able to bring up Task Manager right?

That sounds like explorer freezing up. Try disabling some unnecessary services or even your antivirus and see if you can reboot normally. Is there any process using large amounts of CPU when you're frozen?
