    Hi,
I have an Acer Aspire 5003 and I recently bought an Acer X191W 19" widescreen LCD monitor to use as an extension of my desktop ( mainly for graphics related work ). Unfortunately, when I got home, I realized my video card ( for some weird reason ) doesn't support the monitor's native 1440x900 native resolution. What really bugs me is that the card supports all kinds of higher resolutions ( 2048 x 1536 ), but it doesn't support 1440 x 900. I've downloaded the most recent version of the card driver's ( and, I DID buy this machine in October, so it really wasn't that long ago ). Is there any way I can tweak windows to set my resolution to the monitor's native 1440x900 ? I'm lost... Should I just return the monitor ?

    Hi,
If I remember correctly it's an integrated Intel SisG Card. Not sure.
