Hi guys, could you give me an advice, please?
I wanted to add 2GB of RAM.

Which RAM module should I buy for my 5290G ?
Are there any brands that are better than the others e.g. Corsair?
    Any UK Online shops links?

    Thanks for your time!

First make sure that you got vista/xp x64 if you want to add more than 3gb of ram, personally i think Kingston is making a good job so you could buy their ram :) Also make sure its only 667mhz sodimm you are buying 800mhz is just a waste of money since it will just be downclocked so 667.

I got Mushkin PC2-5300, 2Gb SO-DIMM module. Works like charm (upper is new module, bottom is original). Since i upgraded to x64, second module will be changed soon :)

probably work perfect... i'm using cheap generic ram in one of my laptops and brand name in the other....

just remember with the BRAND NAME the warranty procedure is going to be a lot easier to use if you have to!

    5920 doesn't go faster than 667MhZ.

chipset only works at 667mhz for RAM sub-system,, even though the CPU can run at 800mhz FSB,,, the I965 chipset only supports ram speeds upto 667mhz..

    blame intel! ;)

Just installed the memory. Gotta buy another module to get 4GB, though.
