 Hey! I've got an Acer Aspire 6530 which I love to bits (its got an inbuilt subwoofer with great sound in the inbuilt speakers! AMD Turion X2 Dual Core 2.0Ghz 4 Gig DDR2 Ram )

However in a mission to upgrade the BIOS to see if I could overclock the CPU - the original Bios 3217 was replaced with a new bios that locked the Video Ram at 256 meg!

With the original Bios 3217 I had it running on 512 meg before which allowed changes up to 1024 meg maximum and the gaming was awesome.

I desperately want my old Bios back (3217) which I can't find at any Acer website or around the net - or a modified Bios that unlocks my Video Ram and especially the original mission of overclocking my CPU and Ram if possible...

    Any ideas or tips?

Doesn't the flash program produce a backup rom file?
