    Hello,

i have a question for the user of the V3 571G Notebook with 1920x1080 IPS Panel. I have looked at the Hardware ID of the Panel. Here you get the Information that the Panels Name is LGD0323. In the programm everlast you get the a additional Information that the Name of the panel ist LP156WF4-SPB1 .

In the ENVY 15 Forum you can read that the LGD0323 pannel have a red/orange bug. That means red looks like orange.

What i want to know is if the V3 571G has the same Panel like the Envy 15?

Or why they use the same Hardware ID?

According to notebookcheck.com and notebookjournall.de it's LP156WF4-SPB1 and both reviews ( here and here) are very fond of the screen. Notebookcheck specifically mentions color reproduction and saturation and while it states that "sRGB color space is not fully covered. But this fact is bearable, seeing as sRGB or AdobeRGB color space coverage is only relevant for professional photo editing" it does not mention the orange-bug.

Considering the fact that the LCD is considered an advantage of the laptop it seems impossible that both reviews would miss something as obvious as a completely wrong color.

    Hello,

thank you for your answer. My Display don't have the orange Bug.

But why is LG prdoucing a new panel and give them an old Hardware ID of a not so good panel?

Why they don't gave them a new name?
