To date I have uncovered a few useful software from Acer

    Acer Smart PowerManager

    Download here
    Conserve Power On the Go.
Installable on most Acer Laptops (Even on Laptops that doesn't came with this originally).

    Optical Drive PowerManager

    Download here
    Conserve Power On the Go.
Installable on most Acer Laptops (Even on Laptops that doesn't came with this originally).

If anyone wants to know they are taken from "Timeline" Series so maybe we will get better "Battery Time" with this.

It is from the Acer Download Centre however some people using other models of Acer Laptop (Non-Timeline) may not know the software is suitable for download and installation.

Isn't that Undervolt and Windows Power Option can do it already?
Especially Undervolt, it can really reduce the Power Consumption.

I don't think Windows Advance Power Option has optical drive options moreover these software have optimized preset that some people might be too lazy to set manually.
