    After installing XP Pro SP2 Upgrade some Fn shortcus don't work the way they used to, or don't wark at all.

    Try updating the keyboard drivers and see if that works.

    Did you install all the drivers for the notebook? If you didn't, either install them from the Restore CD, or download and install them from Acer's support site.
