    Uninstalling Acer eRecovery

    Hi can anyone tell me if there is anyway to uninstall the old acer eRecovery v1 and install the new acer eRecovery v2.0 that comes with the new empowering technology framework

    From control panel, install/uninstall programs ? If I remember, I had uninstalled it from there. Anyway, you can avoid its loading by unchecking it in start menu (run : msconfig, last menu on the right)... But you can probably install the new one directly, I think it will automatically uninstall the old one. Hope this helps ! :)
