    Hi folks,

    Anyone else have on of these other kind of timelines yet? I have the 8571 with the core 2 su9400 in it, and I like it a lot. I had to update the synaptic touchpad driver to get it working correctly with firefox though - but everything else has been flawless. Its physical sturdy and sleek looking, fun to use.

    One other thing i noticed - whatever software is managing the power profiles is overriding the windows options for the power button and effectively preventing me from setting that button to lock instead of sleep/shutdown

    Can anyone recommend a good utility for monitoring battery life? The windows time estimate changes a lot and i don't trust it.
