    Hi
I've had the Acer Travelmate 4064WLMi for about 20 months. It's worked fine until about 3 months ago.

The power started to disconnect somewhere along the circuit. I'm not sure where - definately not an expert in these matters. Unsure whether it was somewhere in the power chord or the socket on the back of the laptop. At first this wasn't a big deal because it would only disconnect for a few seconds or a minute and I had my battery so the computer stayed running.

But about 6 weeks ago, the power would not reconnect. I ran the battery dry and then the computer wouldn't turn on - until I removed the battery. Strangely, I was able to turn on when I removed the battery.

Of course, now with the battery out, when the power disconnected, the computer shut off. This happened maybe twice a day for about a week. Then all of a sudden the power wouldn't turn on at all. So at the moment I'm less one laptop.

Please advise what I can do to fix this problem? I'm no longer under warranty. Any advice is appreciated.
