    Hi!

Can someone please post a picture of the german keyboard version from Acer Timeline 4810? I'm considering buying one from Germany (lower price, SU9400 available) and I need to know if all the keys needed to my native language are there.

    Thank you.

    Regards,
    carlos

Hi embrion, thanks for your help - the keys match what I need! I'm browsing the store right now to buy it :)

As for the warranty, I'm inside the EU (Portugal), so my local Acer distributor/reseller is obliged to honor the warranty, even if I bought it in Germany.

    Thanks!

To my knowledge, the two year warranty european directive dates back to 2002 and enforces suppliers selling in EU space, so if Acer has a local distributor it has to honor the warranty.

On the other hand, if the store I'm buying from lists my country as a valid destination, they have to honor the 2 year warranty. As a last resort, if I ever need to repair my PC, I'll have to send it to Germany.

But please be aware, I do not have the legal background or references to support my statements, so don't take them for granted.

All such Warranty issues are EU wide... VW lost such a case back in 2004, note however this can only be enforced across the ORIGINAL countries as the new Joiners still have a few years to fully implement and comply

Portugal joined the EU in 1986, so I'm covered - but thanks anyway.
