The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. In attachment the nzb file. On usenet it has been repacked.
At the end of the list other usual places...;-)

GMNote, please be aware that sharing Acer service manuals is against the End User License Agreement contained within the manual itself, and breaking EULAs is against NBR forum rules.
Thus, we are not allowed to share the manuals. I've removed the links in your post; please do not post them again.

I don't like piracy at all. I could (Yes i could...) understand the removal of links, but NO infringiment has been done by posting the whole list of included manuals.
Moreover there are more broken EULA rules here, like modifying bioses, ram module eeproms e so on...And some guides live on the edge...;-)

    Thanks anyway!

    GMNote

P.S. I don't want to raise a fuss, that's all! My humble opinion.

True, but modifying your BIOS doesn't mean you're violating Acer's intellectual property rights like sharing service manuals would. I should have been clearer in my original post, and I apologize for that.

I would like to have them shared, but my hands are tied by NBR rules. I'm going to confer with other moderators and see what we can do.

    Thread closed until further notice.

OK update: the status quo will remain that way. No posting Acer service manuals publicly.
