    Taking back off of laptop.

    Can I take the back off my laptop to clean it out and fix a peice of plastic that is overiding another peice.

    Yes, if taking the panel lets you clean the notebook more thoroughly, then its a good idea to remove it. Have a look at the Cooling Guide, if your temperatures are a little high or if you just want some information on cleaning the notebook.

    Ok, I heard it will void my warranty. Thanks. Gotta go buy some compressed air first though.

    With some notebook manufacturers, it may void the warranty, so it best to check with the manufacturer themselves as to whether it does. Most of the time, it doesn't with the larger companies like Dell, HP and the others.
