    I am unable to get my computer to get past the first two startup screens. I have an Acer Aspire 3003WLCi.

    When I turn my computer on a black screen comes up saying

    "Phoenix NoteBIOS 4.0 Release 6.0
    Copyright 1985-2003 Phoenix Technologies Ltd.
    All Rights Reserved

    CPU0 =Mobile AMD Sempron(tm) Processor 3000+
    639K System RAM Passed
    478M Extended RAM Passed
    128K Cache SRAM Passed
    System BIOS Shadowed
    Fixed Disk 0: WDC WD400UE-22HCT0
    ATAPI CD-ROM: PHILLIPS CD-RW/DVD-ROM SCB5265
    Mouse initialized

    Press <F2> to enter SETUP"

    Then it goes to a Black Microsoft Windows xp startup screen, turns off, then goes back to the first screen, and continues through these two screens, turning off, then through the screens again.

    I can't get my computer to get past these two screens. What can I do to fix this?

    That sounds like an OS issue. You can try running a chkdsk /r from the recovery console (boot from XP installation CD and go to recovery console). Other options might include safe mode, or a system restore.
