    Is there a way to disable speedstep on my acer 6935G? i use it plugeed in all the time.

    Yes! There is a way. Urm. A lot of ways. LOL.
    You can go to your BIOS setting and turn EIST(speedstep) off.
    Press F2 frequently during boot-up(when acer logo shown) and you can get into the BIOS setting.

    *Do not simply adjust things in the BIOS(danger).

    Dont seem to have that option on my bios

    Hi, it won't be, Acer doesn't include that particular setting in your, and mine, laptop bios. Seems like the only way for you to work around it is to use rmclock but you'll need to keep an eye on your temps...

    I was looking for a way too yesterday but with no luck. RMclock throttling tab is greyed out for 6935g too so its not much help. Undervolting is the only way i think but i can't find a program that works in monitoring my cpu temps.
