Another question, my Aspire 5672's speakers are for the most part compleatly useless. The sound is almost non-existant and what it does play is random sounds and never voices. Anyone know what I can do about this?

    Thanks

go in the real audio HD manager and make sure everything is set to default. Or uninstall and then reinstall audio drivers

make sure wave is turned up pretty high in sound properties (the one supplied by windows, not realtek). Mine is up pretty high and it sounds great.

What audio player are you using. Are you listening to your mp3 music or playing games? Are you using winamp or what?

The acer speakers suck, but they should be fairly audible in decent surroundings.

One recommendation is to not use the realtech equalizer. If you turn the bass way up on the equalizer it distorts the audio. (obviously not an answer but I need some more info) :)
