    Hi,

I've got a strange model of this laptop from BestBuy which does NOT have a bluetooth device installed. It's got the bluetooth button on the right side, but it doesn't actually do anything. (I was fully aware of its absence when I made the purchase, I just never thought I'd need bluetooth)

Anyways... I made detailed comparisons to the model used in this review:

    http://www.notebookcheck.net/Review-Acer-Aspire-6920G-Notebook.8783.0.html

All that is different is that I have a T5750 instead of the T8100, the rest is absolutely identical. (Other than... again, my non-existent bluetooth)

Now what I'm looking to do, is install a bluetooth device internally. (Thus making available another precious usb port!!) I've already purchased one of those mini usb bluetooth receivers. Is it possible at all, for me to install this inside the shell so that it functions with the bluetooth switch and everything else.

I mean, its got identical motherboards. The place where bluetooth is installed in all the other models must still be present, so I'm assuming it's rather feasible... I am prepared to do a bit of soldering work of course, I just can't find a readily available guide...

    Thanks in Advance.

Hopefully you find an internal USB

My experience has been that Factory fit tends to be a SIM card sized board or on other models a genuine minicard rather than a USB connection.

Don't know what the part number would be for yours though . .
