    SU2700 vs SU3500 battery life on Timeline?

    So I'm not all that thrilled with coughing up an extra $50 for a minor performance bump to the SU3500 (Timeline 13.3"), but the TDP of the SU3500 is 5.5w vs. the SU2700's 10w. How much difference is this going to make in running life?

    BTW FWIW, some have been wondering which Timeline models have bluetooth... well from JR.com the only one that does is the one with the SU9400. Laptopmag's review on it (spec list) also confirms the bluetooth. All other models are SOL.

    imho, the extra 50 bucks is a worthwhile investment. it's not just the 0.1ghz and 5w difference, there is also the bump in cache (3mb vs. 2mb). the su3500 is essentially the su9400 with one core disabled, so i believe the architecture is slightly updated from the su2700. don't quote me on the architecture update though ;)

    i doubt battery life will be significantly different, maybe an extra 10-20 min, if that. but while i couldn't justify the extra 300 bones for the su9400 version, 50 dollars more for the su3500 seemed reasonable to me so that's what i ended up getting. of course that could just be clever pricing on acer's part...

    Not worried about the performance difference (which isn't going to be miles apart anyways), just battery life.

    Wish there were reviews of the SU3500 13" Timeline (the one below/above is for the 14" :(). Since the SU9400 that Laptopmag has is 10w TDP and the SU2700 is the same, a comparison between the SU94 and SU35 would be awesome..
