I got a 5672 t2300, 2g ram, 120hd, x1400 128mb. I can't get the TV-out to work! I am using a S-Video to RCA cable to connect it to my TV but the TV simply is not detected even if I plug it to the laptop before I switch them on. I updated the ATI drivers but still no luck! Another problem is that sometimes the start menu shows a black area when I press it and wont let me click on the 'All Programms' menu. What's wrong with these laptops? How annoying the empowering technology is... Any suggestion ot the TV issue guys?

get the driver from the acer website. those work the best for the computer. you need to go to display settings and turn on the tv option.

    right click desktop/properties/settings tab/advanced/display

I had the same issue, but when I switch on the cable to the TV the drivers said that it wasn't connected. I close the drivers panel and opened it another time. After that it said that it was enabled and working
