i bought an acer 3003wlci with crystal brite screen from tiger direct on november 26 of this year. opened it for christmas and it seems not to have the crystal brite screen. contacted acer and they said the s# does not indicate a crystal brite screen. tried to contact tigerdirect but they say they know nothing about it. now i cannot get any reply from them. has anyone else been ripped off by tigerdirect on this model? is this a problem with acer as well or simply a case of false advertising by tigerdirect??

comment, suggestions, what has everyone else done??

False advertising from Tigerdirect. If they aren't replying to you, just call them up.

    crystal brite sucks.
The glare isn't worth the so called brightness.

You're welcome to your opinion,as wrong as it may be :D, but I would disagree with you. Yes there is some glare but to me the quality of the screen clarity is amazing and worth it.

I'm inclined to agree with Roosterman. I have had an Acer notebook in the past. Their screens are where they cheap out. I wouldn't buy an Acer without CrystalBrite.
