    Removing preinstalled programs...

    The image below willl show you a list of items previously installed on my Acer 5315...

    Is it safe to remove any of these or will doing so cause more trouble than its worth.

    Reason: I never use any of them. In fact, I just removed all the games from the machine.

    FYI: If you want to remove the eRecovery Management program, run the following program as administrator:
    C:\Acer\Empowering Technology\Remove_eRecovery.exe

    i agree, but make every possible DVD disk of drivers and all that other crap before you ditch the programs. make backups of everything you can so that you can restore your laptop. heck, make backups of backups, not to mention favorite programs and updated driver files. don't skimp on this, or you'll regret it. i learned the hard way. remember this rule that i have lived with since i was a lil nooblet:
    "never put anything on a computer you do not want lost or cant afford to live without. make backups and then make backups of backups. if you care about your data, guard it safely."
