    1) Will there be significant performance gain on the TM 8204WLMi if the memory is upgraded from the 533MHz to 667MHz RAM. (Intel 945PM chipset).

    2) Will the performance be crippled if RAM imstalled are not pair matched since this chipset supports DDR2 dual channel?

    the increase to 667 mhz is pretty minimal. part of this is b/c most 667 mhz ram has a higher latency, so the increase is speed is offset by the higher latency of the ram.

    I have been doing some reading here and there. You are right, the gain is minimal due to the increased latency.

    Right now, the most bang for the buck is 2 x 1GB 533MHz ram.
