Hi, I'm having a problem with my Acer Aspire 5680-6798. Basically what happened was I started a full screen program (a game) and then it froze. When it froze, I couldn't do anything, not even ctrl+alt+del. So, I had to force shut down the computer (holding power button). It says Windows did not shut down properly and all that, which is normal. But what happened was after the Acer splash screen and the Microsoft loading bar, the screen just turned blank and didn't do anything. This happens just before Windows starts up. So I had to force shut down again. This time it says Windows failed to start and ran the Startup Recovery, to which it didn't find the problem.

To solve this, I did the alt+f10 thing on the Acer splash screen and did a full recovery (back to factory default). I ran it and it worked but now I'm getting the Acer Launch Installation window every time I restart the laptop. It even says that the installation is done but the screen won't go away no matter how long I wait and it sits over top every window. So I have to ctrl+alt+del to get rid of the window. Is there any solution to making this go away?

As a side note, I have also noticed that downloads have gotten a lot slower after this. Shouldn't this have gotten faster since I did a full restore?

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you!
