The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

My husband and I are currently getting a divorce and for spite he changed my password to actually get onto the computer. It is the main password. How can I change it so I can get onto my computer?

I'm afraid the discussion of how to get around passwords is not allowed on this forum.

    Try calling your notebook supplier.

Yep. We do not allow discussions on bypassing security measures for any reason.

As suggested, contact your notebook manufacturer for assistance.
