    Opening Acer TM 2350

    Hello to all, I have 1 problem. My mom bought to me this pc 5 years ago (2003) untill this time I didn't cleaned it from dust and now I want to do this. Today whole day I tryed to Open and remove keyboard to clean it from dust. I removed all bolts but I still couldnt to remove keyboard. Any ideas how to do that?

    Short: I need to know how to remove keyboard to clean inside pc from dust.

    Oh thank you VERY VERY much for fast reply. But I just wanna ask: If ill remove keybord will Ill be able to clean the fan and whole pc from dust?

    The fan: YES. It's under the kbd I think..The whole pc..I don't know :)

    Ok thx alot but Ill only remove keyboard, clean pc and then again put on kbr ;)

    Ok and last question: Now is summer sometimes my pc goes to crazy 55C can I leave it whitout kbr? Open cooler and other stuff. I think it would help to stay pc cooler.

    55ºC is not so high..and cleaning the fan will definitely reduce the heat. You could think of replacing the current(old) thermal paste with Arctic Silver 5 too. If you do so, make sure you remove the old paste from the cpu and the heatsink.

    Anyway leaving the laptop with the keyboard removed will have minor(or no) effect for cooling..In my opinion..

    Ok I don't want to ask where to buy and how to add that thermal paste so ill only clean the fan and hope that will work ;)

    Ok i done it. I didnt unpluged keybord just moved to keypad so my pc is more ventilated. I hope it will be better @ nights. Thx for 4 support ;)
