    Hi,
Could anyone help me with my Aspire 5580.. Ive been using this laptop since 2007 and never had a problem until now... When I play any game like Warcraft 3, GTA 3, or any other game that I think will use the gpu... 5 minutes and there will be lines flickering on the screen.. When I close the game the lines will still be there unless I reboot or if I stay in the game it hangs and need to reboot to work again.... Just wanna know if my GPU is fried?? or can someone tell me what happened to it.. thanks..

Anyway im using G60JX now... its just hard to throw something away youve been with for a long time. this was my first laptop, I bought with my own money..

Have you upgraded the drivers for your video card lately?

It could be the GPU is over heating. Open up the back and blow out all your fans, etc. with compressed air.
