    Does Newegg.com ship Acer laptops (or any laptop for that matter) in a shipping box container instead of the actual product box?

    Okay, good to know. Perhaps the Acer, it is that or the Sony. I would like to like the Toshiba Qosmio 18.4" but they went to town on glossy just like HP does with EVERYTHING. Plus, the specs on the Toshiba aren't all that good compared to what Acer offers.

    When I recieved my box from newegg, it was filled with packing peanuts, and inside that package was another brown box. Which was the box Acer shipped Newegg the laptop in. And inside THAT ONE was the retail box, and inside the laptop.

    The box is quite usefull if you need to ship the laptop back to newegg. Just cover up the mailing label of Acer to Newegg and ship, or shove it in ANOTHER box with peanuts for protection.

    I bought the combo with the laptop cooler so I stuck them in one box and shipped it back, despite I got both in two seperate boxes
