Don't know where he saw X700 graphics, If his post was on April 1st, I would consider it a joke. All Acer website that have info on this model (singapore, eastern europe) only list it with Interl 915M.

So I'm pretty sure this applies to the new Travelmate 3002 (confusion here; it's referred to as a 3002 sometmes and 3000 at other times.). I suppose dual video would be possible but it only has one port.

*External optical drive (how bad is that? how much does it weigh?)
*Build quality (what is the notebook made out of? Carbon Fibre, alluminium, magnesium alloy or just plastic?)

I just called my friend at Acer USA and he went and looked at their 1st article units and check all their internal documents, there is no refernce to the X700 on any TM3000 related documents. Ok it seems that most Acer site in the world have manage to add the TM3000 in the product lineup and non of them list X700 in any of the spec so I guess it's all a pipe dream as I said.
