This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    At least I think I do. This one has been making a ton of noise for nearly a year, and I get lots of application lockups. Looked on ebay and they're all in China and they all want to be paid via PalPal (won't deal with them). Anyone know what Acer would charge for a new fan? Anyone happen to have a dead 5100 laying around they could send me the fan from?
