    Hey all,

I've been reading up on converting to NTFS and the whole 512 byte vs. 4kb debate. My question is:

If I convert the data portion [D:] to NTFS, is it ok to leave it as 512 byte cluster size? Will this impact my speed at all? Or does it only matter that the BOOTING partition be 4kb for speed's sake?

Nobody knows the answer? Is the 4kb speed benefit only for the boot partition, where files are accessed frequently and quickly? Or is 4kb the best for even storage-only partitions also?
