O.K., I own a crappy Acer Aspire 5315. I'm a software master, and have customized the living crap out of the computer's software side, and am looking into customizing its guts, and it's outer appearance.
I have a good friend of mine that's good at this kind of stuff, and I'm only learning the beginning of hardware and such, so I was wondering what all I can do to this thing.
I'm also looking into upgrading some parts of it.

I would consider getting more RAM for a start, seeing as these things dont come with much i would want at least 2 gigs in there, faster/bigger hard drives also give a noticeable boost in performance too. I cant remember which CPU is in the 5315 but there's plenty of headroom for and upgrade on that also.
