Just a couple of minor issues I'm having with my 5672, I'm hoping someone here will be able to help. (Although it seems support reps don't surf here like some companies' do.)

One is the function key repeat rate, it's so slooooooooooow. Turning the volume up or down, raising or lowering the brightness seems to take ages compared to my compaq laptop. Windows is set to repeat keys fast, but apparently this is a bios-intercepted setting, but I can't find the repeat rate in the bios at all. It's very frustrating when a loud song comes on, I have to use a three-key shortcut instead of the one hotkey.

Also, is it possible to turn the laptop screen off when connected to a monitor, less temporarily than fn+f6 (returns as soon as you use the keyboard) and less permanent than shutting it off in the driver panel (throws off dual setup)? I used to use a tool to hold down the hp's switch, but this one is recessed and too difficult to keep pressed down.

Otherwise, I'm very happy with the laptop. Even if I'm a bit annoyed that the price came down $100 in the month I've had it. ;)
