I just recently replaced my thermal paste on my acer aspire 6920g with ic diamond. After doing so and running furmark for a while 30 mins I noticed that my temps wouldn't go above 68c anymore! Now I'm sitting here scratching my head wondering what I can do with my new awesome temps... OVERCLOCK!! :D :D

I am currently running an overclock of (core/memory/shader) 690/484/1435 with temps under 76c and a room temp of 23c.

I don't know if this helped, but when I was putting the heatsync back on I bent the little clamps that hold the heatsync in place a little more than they were for a little added pressure on cores. That might be what is giving me better thermal connectivity than before.

anyway, Ill be somewhere quiet playing BFBC2 on this machine :p

*edit* aww hell, now imma have to change my sig...
*edit #2* after several hours of gameplay my temps spiked once to 83c but averaged about 78c. The overclock is still super stable.
