    Looking to buy an Acer

    I found the Acer Aspire 5003WLMi with the AMD Turion 64 ML-32 1.8 GHz - RAM 1 GB - HD 100 GB - DVD±RW (+R DL) - 802.11b/g - Win XP Home - 15.4" TFT 1280 x 800, anyways my question is, is if anyone has tried or owned this laptop, the only draw back that I can see is that its a 100gig hdd @ 4200rpm, any input would be nice.

    The only other fault I can think of is the SiS Mirage2 graphics card. It is fine for general(play DVD, surfing) but is not powerful enough for todays games. So if you are looking to play any sort of games, then it is not the graphics card to choose.

    The review should give you a general idea(the 5002 and 5003 belong to the same family and the only change is in the specifications)....

    yes thats right too, im not really going to use it for games at all, sice it really only for school use only. But its there anythign else in acers line up that can provide better performance?

    well the acer TM 8204 will out preform but will cost more, i have mirage card in my acer and it is not very good atleast for games but i can Civ 3 Command & conuqer's Generals Zero Hour, at full graphics but no much more, but mine is the origonal mirage card not the mirage 2.

    actually, im just gonna shell out the extra money and get the ferrari 4002, since I want some performance.
