    Long startup time to POST on Aspire 5670 Series

    Hello, I have a weird problem to share. My laptop started to have this weird problem after 4 or 5 years.

    The problem is like this:
    The PC start very slow before showing POST.
    Usually after power button was pressed the POST screen will show up after 2 to 5 seconds before that but now most of the time it takes about approximately 1 minute before showing POST screen of which never happen before.

    The question is what cause this problem?

    Below is the attachment of Bios screenshot
    As one can see that the serial number and asset tag number are all garbled whereas Product Name shown as "TravelMate xxxx" instead of "Acer Aspire 5670" and UUID shown as FEFEFEFE.......... it just weird

    By the way, when this problem occur after post it boot to windows, the internal touchpad and keyboard may sometime respond very slow and sometime touchpad stop functioning. Restart PC does solve this problem but the POST, garbled and FEFEFE issue may occur even after restart.
