Hey guys!! I'm pretty sure I posted on this before, but I kinda lost the thread :( so don't be mad at me for posting it again hehe.

Anyway its just a quick question: I'm using my Aspire 2012WLMi for home recording, and I have some outboard gear connected by both analog and digital, which as far as I can tell is creating some sort of ground loop and I get digital noise in my signal. When I unplug the laptop, problem goes away. So i read somewhere that lifting the ground on the power supply would help. How do I do this, and is it safe?

    Thanks!
