    Keyboard keys give wrong characters!!!

    Recently I purchased an ACER Aspire 1674WLMi. I have noticed a problem with some of the keys. Some of the keys give the wrong character when pushed. Here is a list of the keys;

    >>> the 2 key is supposed to give " whe pushed with SHIFT, but gives @. Still gives 2 on it's own though.

    >>>the @ key gives " with SHIFT, but still gives ' on it's own.

    >>> the 3 keys is supposed to give a POUND STERLING sign but it gives #, there is no other key that gives the POUND symbol.

    Also a few others but they are just things like ~|.

    Has anyone else had a similar problem? and have they found a solution?

    Acer had set the default keboard layout to US instead of UK-Standard.

    And I'm in the UK!! [ :)][ :)]
