    Hi,

    I wasnt sure where to turn for desktop advice...so I thought I'd use this forum. I recently bought an acer aspire m5630 that came with a windows remote control and some hotkeys on the keyboard. Is there any way to configure the remote and media hotkeys with other programs like vlc player?

    By the way, I went on an uninstalling spree when I first used the computer, so if you know of any software that came with the computer, please let me know where I can download it again.

    By the way, can someone suggest a laptop equivalent to this desktop?
    3 gig ram, E4500 core2duo 2.2 ghz, ati radeon hd 2400 pro graphics, vista home premium.
