    the 4 way scroll button below the touchpad on my 8200 doesnt work with firefox just wondering if there is a fix

    doesn't work for me either on the 5672wlmi, it just turns the mouse into the scrolling symbol and doesn't scroll anywhere.

    Yes - go in to the mouse CP, Synaptics tab, Buttons page, and change the action for the scroll button.

    If i map it to the up key it works but only scrolls one line... remapped it back to the scroll up and it doesnt work again...

    Uninstall your current Synaptics Touchpad driver. Install the new one on the Synaptics website. You will have to remap the buttons to scroll up, down, left, and right after installing the new driver.
