    Hey all,
I have an acer travelmate 4010 and a Canon ZR 800 Digital video camera.
I'm using Sony Movie Studio 9 ( Platinum Edition )
Does anybody know the proper card I need for the slot, trying to get video capture to function.
The card I got from Best Buy ( IEEE 1394 Bus Adapter) It says simple plug and play installation, but my laptop does'nt inform me of new hard ware when I plug it in. I also got the fire wire that does fit into the adapter on one end and the other end does fit into my camera.
When I try this with Sony Movie Studio / Video Capure , the software does'nt recognize a device. Any help would be great.
    Thank you,
    Jim.
