I just installed a new hdd in my lappy as a secondary. Vista recognizes it and I can use it, but when I use chkdsk, it only goes to about 45% and then the program just freezes. I've let it ride out for about 3-4hrs now and its still in that same spot. I'm trying to prep it as my main HDD, but I can't get the stupid thing past this! Any suggestions?
