    Hey

I want to delete all te Acer softwares as they are taking lots of space.

    BUT

I want to keep the function of ALT+F10, meaning i can restore windows without any problem.

Can anyone tell me if it will be fine if i remove all the acer softwares?

It will be fine. As long as you do not delete the recovery partition (usually hidden), you can access the recovery partition for a recovery.

first thing i do is get rid of most of the empoweing technology stuff, the only ones i keep are the esettings, epower management and the erecovery... the rest of it is completely useless and a resource hog for me. I especially dislike the eperformance manager because its always trying to defrag your hard drive.

that option is in the erecovery management software; it has options to create back-up disk(s). also bear in mind that if you keep your pqservice partition you'll be able to use alt+F10 to restore back to factory settings.

In the hidden partition there is a folder (don't remember the name, perhaps called acer) which contains files of the size of about a DVD. That is the folder, copy its contents in a DVD and that should do it (make sure it boots).
