I was trying to left up the keyboard using a small screwdriver and the screwdriver slipped and popped the Esc key off. It bent the keyboard bed (or frame or whatever it's called) a little as well.

So I've got an escape key and the little U-shaped plastic thing that goes under it, but I can't figure out how to put it back together - or do I just need to get a new keyboard?

    Any help would be appreciated!

hmm... this is the new keyboard, for older one you can fix it by putting the two square thing together(require some technique) for the new one as long as the u shape thing still connected to the keyboard i think you can put it back...
