    Guys a Little Help

    Ok so i got my new acer 6920 and started it up, it took a VERY long time and it didn't ask me to enter any DVD's for backup am i screwed :confused: right now i'm in the desktop

    Hi LKR.

    As long as your lappy behaves as mine (Aspire 7720), which I guess it does, you are definitely not screwed. You just have to run "Acer eRecovery" or some app with very simiilar name (I removed old that bloatware so I don´t remember exactly the name), and choose to back up your system.

    try F12 or ALt+F10 to access the bootmanager, and from their you can access the recovery partition.

    note that to access the bootmanager you may hve to hit another key. this should be indicated at the bios screen.
