    It's frustrating but Realtek have locked down the ability to record things from anywhere but the microphone.

    Is there any way to remove this limit? A program that will let me record from the mixer or unlock the volume sliders and option to reroute input from speakers to a wav file.

    blame the RIAA for putting pressure on hardware makers to remove analog loopholes like that. Sry but no.
