I really noticed it after I enstalled Acer enpowering technology, but that might not be the problem. However since then, the time from power to login screen has gone from about 15 seconds to 25, but more importantly after I put in my password, it takes a good 2 to 3 minutes to get to the desktop. This used to take more like 10 seconds. Any thoughts would be appreciated, thanks.

Have you tried doing a System Restore? That might help.

Also, what programs have you installed besides Acer ePower to fix it? I would try uninstalling that.
